Calling all colourists!
We are pleased to announce a visit to the UK from Mr. Dennis Bernard, CEO of Dennis Bernard Professional, to take place in conjunction with MIX Ltd, in June 2023.
Seasoned colourists will be familiar with Dennis’s innovative product range of salon problem-solvers for professional hair stylists, with a range of next-generation colouring, bonding and conditioning products which we know you will love. He is one of the leading lights in the American hairdressing industry, and is widely admired for his approach.
We will be holding an invitation-only educational seminar with Dennis as key speaker, to be held at Coronado SA in Canvey Island, Essex, on 20th June, to which we are inviting all our Powertools customers, as well as colourists who have ordered with us before.

If you have any questions you would like to ask Dennis and can’t make it in person, please make them known to the team here at MIX and we’ll make sure they’re asked on your behalf. The seminar will be recorded and released via our various media channels over the coming months as a way of building up a library of educational and training videos. If you are a colourist or hair stylist, you will find this an invaluable experience, as Dennis has formulated his products with both the hairdresser and the customer’s hair welfare in mind.
Dennis Bernard – a biography
In 1950, five year old, Dennis Bernard started working in his father’s salon in New Jersey. Over many years, Dennis learned the business and gained the knowledge to one day become a future hairstylist, salon and chain owner. In 1981, Dennis and his father developed an innovative product that would condition, eliminate fade out, add coverage, and speed up hair colour services to under 15 minutes. This product, The Color Accelerator (TCA) remains one of his best sellers, and, along with the rest of the range, is exclusively distributed in the UK by MIX Ltd.
Over the years Dennis Bernard Inc. continues to invent and create new salon problem-solvers under the POWERTOOLS moniker for the professional hairstylist for colour and chemical services. His SmartSolutions range is a sulphate-paraben-cruelty-free retail line inspired by keeping the hairstylist, client, and the environment in mind. All the products are plant extract based and are formulated to revitalize the hair, while extending the life of your colour service. All products are packaged in 100% recyclable bottles, packs, and tubes.
